| First of all...no one here is living in "la-la-land"(Geez...even my grandmother doesn't use that term anymore). Everyone is aware of the performance capabilities of the C6 and Z06 platforms. 'whatsthegoodword' has posted several articles similar to this from various magazines featuring the Z32 from the 90s. We as fans and owners(and former owners) of these cars, appreciate this and like to look back on these for their sentimental values. The Z32 dominated most tests similar to these in publications and received a wide range of automotive awards during its production run. It most certainly changed how many sports cars today are developed as well as how sports cars are perceived. Most people here are aware of the chain of events that led to the development of the Z32 and other high end japanese turbo sports cars in the mid 80s to their demise here in the US in the mid 90s. IMO, the Corvette would likely not be here in its current configurations had it not been for that era.
